Refining the decision-making framework for sustainable technology operations

TOSS (the Technology Organisational Sustainability Standard) provides technology leaders with a practical framework for making greener technology decisions. At its core are decision trees: structured guides that help teams navigate strategy, implementation, operations, and compliance. But decision trees are only useful if they reflect real-world complexity. This assembly is designed to stress-test and improve them.

Over six weekly sessions, participants will work through each pillar of the TOSS framework: Strategy, Implementation, Operational, and Compliance & Regulation. Each session will focus on a different pillar, with collaborative exercises designed to surface gaps, challenge assumptions, and refine the decision trees based on practical experience.

Every session will be supported by a shared Miro board, and the final session will bring everything together with a structured summary and synthesis of all the feedback gathered across the series. The result will be a significantly improved set of decision trees, grounded in the collective expertise of practitioners who actually use these frameworks.

If you work in technology strategy, operations, or sustainability and want to help shape a practical framework that organisations worldwide will use to make greener decisions, this assembly is for you.
